The 2021 Mazda3 sedan has sleek styling with a beautiful interior that wouldn’t look out of place in a luxury car. This year, Mazda ups the fun factor with a new 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that gives the Mazda3 250 horsepower with 320 lb-ft of torque. Its good looks combine well with impressive AWD handling, making it an absolute joy to drive.
What that all translates to on the road is a peppy little sedan that will make you happy to hop in the car for the morning commute. It could make that drive or just running errands your favorite part of the day. Acceleration is effortless with no hesitation when you hit the gas hard to merge into highway traffic. Need extra speed to pass that slow guy? Not a problem.
If you want a more aggressive drive, then flip to Sport mode. You’ll feel the car hunker down as the steering tightens and the revs edge higher. This isn’t a Sport mode in name only, but alters the way the Mazda3 feels.
And that’s what makes the Mazda3 turbo great – how it makes you feel. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and engaging in a way other sedans can’t duplicate.
