It’s the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. I’m driving the 2020 Jeep Wrangler. Everyone is stuck at home aside from grocery store runs. On the list of essentials – toilet paper. I have a “normal for a family of four” supply. Still, the disconcerting lack of toilet paper on store shelves has me anxiously awaiting its return.

I could tell you how the new 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel in the Wrangler boasts 442 lb-ft of torque. I could tell you how easy it is to pop off the doors and enjoy some fresh air while adhering to social distancing guidelines. I could even tell you about the off-road capability of the Rubicon with its heavy-duty front and rear axles, front and rear locking differentials, and skid plates.

That stuff makes the Wrangler a hoot to drive and, should you need to bug out during a pandemic, it has you covered. But let’s circle back to that toilet paper. Based on the math I made my high school senior crunch (homeschooling for the win) you can fit 64.69 rolls of single-ply/1000 sheet rolls behind the rear seats or 147.75 rolls behind the front seat. These days, that’s all you really need to know.
