The Hyundai Santa Fe is a steady, solid choice for a five-passenger crossover. It’s well-equipped with a broad range of price points for any budget. In a world of complicated infotainment systems and perplexing driver assistance, the Santa Fe is a sea of calm. Utilizing the 8” screen, I seamlessly interacted with the navigation, radio, and Bluetooth. Positioning my mirrors and seats was a breeze.

I immediately felt confident and comfortable in the Santa Fe. Ride and handling is sure-footed. The interior is well-appointed with attention to detail in stitching, seams, touchpoints and switches. The intuitive gear shifter is in the center console. The buttons for drive mode and parking brake are within easy reach, positioned just behind the gear shifter.

The Santa Fe’s dash is well thought out, although I prefer an integrated screen. The 7” LCD displays provide helpful information and the head up display is always useful. The driver assist systems deliver audio and visual feedback, further enhancing a confident driving experience.

The Santa Fe has just the right mix of utility, functionality, style, and simplicity. It’s just a good car all around and definitely worthy of consideration. The 5-year, 60,000 mile warranty is a bonus, too.
