On the road, the Subaru Ascent is a durable, well-balanced vehicle, with a sure-footed feel thanks in part to standard AWD and a quiet, well-insulated cabin. The Genesis G70 sedan is really fun to drive, with the optional 3.3-liter twin turbo V6 providing enthusiastic acceleration even as the stiff tuning reassures in the twisties. The six-speed auto is smooth but utilize the paddle shifters for even more engagement.
The G70 is authentic to the sedan driving experience, with a confident, wide stance and optional AWD for added traction. While it’s tuned to maximize athleticism, the G70’s ride is an ideal balance between athletic stiffness and soft comfort.
The interior of the G70 is quite premium but requires upgrading for real leather seating. There’s plenty of room for four with a fifth fitting in a pinch. The infotainment system features an 8-inch touchscreen offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for easy interface.
