The Genesis G70 debuted last year as a sleek, luxurious sedan. It has sporty powertrain options, an elegant interior, and amenities befitting a luxury car, but it is missing one thing – an expensive price tag. Starting price for the G70 is $36,475 putting it in the realm of more attainable sedans.
The optional 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 adds to that price - and to the fun. It has 365 horsepower with 376 lb-ft of torque making for a responsive ride, especially when you flip the drive mode selector to sport. That responsiveness is matched by crisp handling that makes driving the G70 a relaxing experience that doesn’t tax the driver.
A large part of what makes a luxury sedan is its interior. There’s room for five with front seats that are plush and comfortable with heavy bolstering to hold you in place on the corners. Leather surfaces and aluminum accents finish the look and create a calm and welcoming space.
Infotainment includes an 8-inch color touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto along with a 15-speaker Lexicon sound system and 3 USB ports. The 2020 Genesis G70 might be a lesser known luxury sedan, but it’s one worth serious consideration.
